    Function mapJItoEDO

    • Maps a JI ratio to the closest step in an EDO.

      Parameters

      • jiRatio: [number, number]

        [numerator, denominator] ratio.

      • edoSize: number

        Number of steps per octave in the target EDO.

      Returns { errorCents: number; step: number }

      • errorCents: number

        Absolute distance from the just interval, in cents.

      • step: number

        Closest step of the EDO.
